Round 1: Create Magic Circle

Working in Magic Circle; Ch 3 (counts as 1st Dc ) 2 Dc,

Ch 2, 3 Dc, Ch 2, 3 Dc, Ch 2, 3 Dc

Ch 2, Sl St to top of first Ch 3.

Round 2:

Sl St into the next 2 DC and into the Ch 2 space

Ch 3 (counts as 1st Dc) 2 Dc, Ch 2, 3 Dc all into the same space, Ch 1

Work *3 Dc, ch 2, 3 Dc, Ch 1* into the next 3 Ch 2 spaces of the round below.

Sl St to top of first Ch 3. 

Round 3:

Sl St into the next 2 DC and into the Ch 2 space

SC 1 into Ch 2 space

Working into the Ch 1 between the corner granny clusters from the round below: 8 Dc

Sl St into Ch 2 corner space

Working into the Ch 1 between the corner granny clusters from the round below: 8 Dc

Sc 1 into Ch 2 corner space

Work along the edge of the square placing Sc as follows: 1 Sc into the top of each Dc, 1 Sc into Ch 1 spaces, 2 Sc into Ch 2 spaces

Sc into the 3 Sl St from beginning of round, then Sl St into your first Sc

Ch 1 and fasten off your yarn.

Weave your ends and you’re done!
